Title: mk3 strut top

can some1 do me a favour, and measure the size of the cap on your mk3, that goes over the top of the suspsion coil, if any of your have a strut off your car, cheers

not a vr6 or 16v strut just and 8v or other models, cheers

Don't have one to measure but upto 95 front springs are 80mm and 95 on are 65mm front springs

are we talking about the plate that stops the coil from shooting off the top of the strut??

all it is, is that i have some lowering springs that ride over this plate, and was wondering if i could change the plate for an earlier model and see if it fits??
