Title: mk3 rear calipers
Post by: Dizzie on 21 December 2003, 21:09
what's the deal with these?
Are they a direct swap and then don't seize up like we know only too well with the mk2 ones?

If you got a late mk2 then its a straight swap, early ones need a bit of modding. The handbrake mech is internal on the mk3 calipers so is not prone to seizing like mk2 ones.

I do happen to have a brand new set of mk3 calipers in my shed, they need new seals. And i do have a seal kit.
I bought calipers a year a go,had problems , and ended up havin another pair sent. They were sh!t too, so i replaced the seals and all was ok.
So i got a spare set with new seals to put in.
If anyone is local then i might consider selling them but i can't really be bothered to start posting them.
