This tickled me, thought I'd share it:
A kid at my school said "I like your wheel trims... are they the ones that carry on spinning when you stop?"
(glad they can spot a decent car when they see one though)
-
 School kids driving Mk5's whats going on here then
:undecided: are you a teacher?
-
are you a teacher?
Yes. I became a teacher a couple of years ago. My last job was a liaison engineer based at LandRover working for a Japanese company called DENSO. (air-con, nav, engine management) That was a piece of piss compared to this...
-
Denso make the instruments for older landrovers and many Jap motors...

I'm a teacher too! Not a golf driver yet but have a set of 18's on my mini and all the kids shout "like ya rimms Miss!!!". I'll see if I get any kids ask about spinners when I get my mits on a GTi

As a teacher you've got an obligation to promote 'positive values' and to have 'high expectations, respect and commitment'...
We need to get to the kids early, and guide them in the right direction... lead by example. If we don't, we'll end up as a nation of Vectra and Picasso drivers.
Get that Golf GTi asap... you know you want to.

Hey Rowbo, what subject do you teach?
-
I teach ICT and Business Studies. GTi will be bought in September to help the impact of going back to school after six weeks off!!!! Can't wait to get my grubby hands on one. Anyone know which will be the best VW dealer to go to...Brighton or Chichester?
