Title: Matt Black Paint - anyone suggest a brand?
Post by: RaKeR on 21 July 2006, 19:44
Heya,

Like in the topic - has anyone had any good results with any particular brands?  Blackboard Paint?  Did you lacquer it?

Cheers peeps!

Depends what you want it for ? I would go to a propper car paint place and buy some from them, usually better than your normal motor factors and they can advice you on how to get the best results

Halfords and buy a big spray can. Should be enough for a bonnet.

Can't you get some chalkboard paint from Wilkinsons? It's about £3 a tin, and you brush it on.....

Clarkson once slapped a load of stealth fighter (radar absorbing?) paint on a car on Top Gear years ago.

I think he blew the engine up shortly after.
