hi guys,
im needing a bit of advice on a mark2,8v gti, dont know whether i should go for it or not,its a 91 on an h plate, and is very clean for its age.front chassis legs are ok no signs of rust anywhere just a minor bit on the battery tray but very small.
my main concern is the milaege its 167000, full docu history up to 106000,then it was the guys mate at a garage that did it so the history stopped,i was just wondering if you think itll be good for a while yet, heard they are bad for the rear calipers siezing and was wondering if their is anything else i should look for.your the guys thatll know. cheers

how much?

don't jump in to a decision unless the car really stands out fella. Take a look around first but dont let the milage scare you off. Mines on 140k and i was a bit >:( when i went looking. But I'm more than happy with it.
Hope that helps.

iv another query about this mk2,the interior is black and grey striped seats and door cards, was wondering if this was right for this age of car,as i thought this was an older model interior and i know this one is pretty petty but the rear wiper parks on the opposite side of the rear screen,as in the driver side and not the passenger side,it has had a new tailgate about 5 year ago as its got the receipt,as i say iknow im maybe being a bit paranoid but there is no point getting it and then worrieing about it! cheers
