Hi everone im martin from yorkshire im just getting into the golf world after many years of fords  :embarrassed: sorry.Im currently looking for my first golf a mk2 gti but finding it hard to find one around here at the mo.So here's to my 1st dub.

be prepared to travel a bit on the mark 2 front, maybe widen ur scope after all it is a niche market especially with mark 2 numbers getting fewer all the time. Good luck though anyway

Cheers mate i dont mind the travel at all for the right car.Im just waiting on a price of a mk1 that my freind knows about x plate silver full re build.The guy says it has a vw special kit on any ideas what it could be ?.Cheers mart

Thanks you lot  :smiley:.You will laugh but I'm off to bugjam in a transit van  with 5 lads a sofa and chair a big awning bbq and as much beer as possible i.After last years effort I'm not taking any chances.

Nice one il try to get there but by 12 last year i was shall we say a bit worse for wear o.k trolley'd lol.
