Title: What is the WUR mod?
Post by: gybjw on 11 July 2006, 22:06
Seen a few references to this but not exactly sure what it is - something to do with fueling/ignition. Anyone explain what it is and if it's worth getting. From what I've read it seems pretty cheap and worth the money?

it changes the fueling on the car, it is cheap, but they can also go horribly wrong. I was considering  it but after hearing a few horror stories i decided against it.

Releases a few bhp.

Should only be done by a tuner who knows what he is doing, it needs to be done on a rolling road really, and you have to make sure the rest of the fuel system is functioning properyl.  Just fiddling with it in your garage on a Sunday afternoon isn't recommended. ;)

Don't think I'll be attempting anything more than an oil change! Just wondered what it was really.
