Title: C02 too high on a GTI.
Post by: karl wiles on 11 July 2006, 22:03
 Can anyone help ? I've swapped the cold start valve, plunger in the airbox, tweaked the mixture screw, swapped the Thermoswitch for the cold start valve, swapped metering head, and I still can't get the CO2 down for the MOT. The motor runs sweet the mileage is 200,000K. Any ideas?????

It's an 8V. I've just changed the oil again, it was only done 500miles ago and it's just passed this time. I found the oil had a bit fuel contamination, any idea's
