Im getting a clunk when braking at low speeds, i know my top mount bushes are worn out and probably the ARB bushes too,(soon to be replaced) but would these cause the clunk when braking??
its only recently started, noticed cos i have the window open a bit more these days
just thought id ask around to see what people think before i get the bushes done
(when its all apart, get it all done)
cheers for any help :undecided:

Have you tried jumping on each corner checking how it rebounds and sounds, give the bearings a a test by wiggling the wheel up and down and side to side, as that might help narrow down where its comming from.
-
just checked the rebound and bearings and they seem fine...
its just when im breaking, the breaks have been changed, but about 3.5k ago and the noise has only started recently. :undecided:
i guess i'll do the bushes and see if it goes

It's be worth checking the door posts - I had a similar problem and that's what it was...

Give your exhaust pipe a wiggle, the centre bracket is prone to snapping and clunks when breaking or going round corners. (mine did this)

cheers ryushi, i'll check this aswel.
