Title: Vento front bumper,will it fit??

need a new front bumper on a Mk3 GTi and i've got one from a Vento, think it will fit but would just like a bit of conformation. Are they identical and if not what are the differences as they look very similar!

im not positive but im pretty sure thyre identical. Cant imagine it not fitting.

I think they do but they don't match up to the wings very well, while you're there fit a complete Vento front end, you need the lights, grill, bonnet and both wings.  Looks much better IMO :)

whats the difference on the wings? only reason for asking is i fitted a pair of vento wings from one we were breaking to a mk3 last year and there didn't appear to be any difference. Fitted well round lights (golf ones) and bumper (standard golf) and all lined up fine.

yes bumper will fit it is a bit bigger(deeper)!!! but you dont have to modd it in anyway will bolt staight on!!

you dont need the wing as they are the same as golf...

figured the wings were the same as we've used vento wings on damaged mk3s before, just wasn't sure of the bumper. as for fitting the full vento front, well i'm still not sure wether i like the look or not, sometimes i do and other times i'm not sure. irrelevant on this one because its a customers and i don't think he'd really like it that much seeing as it is only in for a bumper! he's mad enough as it is thanks to his wife bumping it in the first place. i'd make her buy a new one!!

As said the bumper will bolt straight on.
The only problem is when you try to fit a Golf spoiler as the lower section where the spoiler fits on  as the Vento is (I believe) narrower across the front and longer at the sides ( or is it the other way round  :undecided:)  This is only really apparent when you compare a Golf  and a Vento side by side
I tried fitting a VR deep spoiler to my Vento a while back and it wouldn't fit !!   :angry:
