As part of the general rebuild of my brothers Mk2, we are going to put central locking in. Maplins currently have a four door kit on offer for ?20, which seems pretty good to me!
Anyway, we wanted to include the boot in the circuit, but will a standard actuator work on the boot lock?
I would have thought that the nature of the lock dictates that a different type of actuator is needed, but if anyone knows for sure, or knows of the correct actuator for the tailgate I would appreciate the info.
