Title: topping out my MK1
Post by: kraM on 07 July 2006, 15:24
[color=LimeGreen]Hi

Not wanting to blow my own trumpet (much) :grin:  But does anyone else suffer from their 1600 GTi topping out in 5th?  As in bouncing off of the rev limiter?   :smug: :shocked:
Does anyone know if you can get a rotor arm with a higher rev limiter?  Mine has 6900rpm printed on it.  When I removed the limiter I find it very hard not to over rev it, (comes on cam at five and revs like a ba*tard)

Cheers
