Title: WHAT IS THE BEST AUTO TRASMISSION GEAR OIL(ATF)FOR LATE MK1 CABRIOLET?

As topic above! But i also wanted to know by changing to better automatic transmission oil(ATF)is it going to make the mk1 auto box gear chenge as smooth as vw  mk3auto?

depends on the age of the engine and gearbox - I always use redline or VW trans gearbox oil.... never let me down I can tell you...
