Are there many people that have stripped out their golf?

Any noticable differences?

Takes ages to dry out :(

My cabrio had a heater matrix leak that I was unaware of for some time. By the time I realised that the carpet was wet, the sound proofing was sodden. I removed all the carpet and sound proofing and managed to put it on the line to dry........took a week........in the summer :o

I used to have a nova that sprung a leak, The carpets were mouldy and the soundproofing was soggy.  Suffice to say the floor pan was as holy as the bible :D

Im only thinking about stripping out my golf to save weight and increase performace hopefully i wont find any leaks on the way lol..
