Title: back box heat shield

i have got a really anooying rattle form the rear heat shield i have tried securing it tightly but i still get the rattle so im thinking of just taking it off can anyone tell me if i take it off would it fail the mot and is it safe to drive it without the heat shield

If you mean the one under the cat then rip it off mate! No good to man nor beast!

Aint had mine on there for 2 years now!

Not really needed but I prefer to leave them fitted.

just took mine off bolt had rusted and was rattling alot sound now though

lol mine been zip tied on for last year to stop the rattles
