Caught up a nice standard Clio 172 yesterday on my way home. Driver was not impressed and promptly booted it uphill on dual carriageway- driver seemed puzzled that the mk2 behind him was still there. He was pulling away slightly but there was really nothing in it. Chased him for several miles then he backed right off to see an otherwise normal 16v wander past. (standard height/small bumpers/OEM exhaust/tow bar/Devon mud..)
Havent had the GIT RRd yet, still not fueling right and clutch still slips so quite happy with that
Radiator fan not happy with final 130mph run though and is now rather forked. £38+vat...ouch

I loved doing that to owners of newer cars in my Mk2 16v.
Even better if they know nothing of Golfs and just think it's an "old" golf with a little engine.
