Title: Recalls

I have noticed on the recalls section of the VOSA website that there was a recall for 1991 onwards Golfs.  Am I within my rights to take the vehicle to VW and have them check that the rectifications have been carried out?   http://www.vosa.gov.uk/vosa/apps/recalls/searches/expand.asp?uniqueID=DE1E3DC038B0248380256BB900268D49

I haven't seen or heard of that before and I'm not sure if the recall is still active, be interested to see what others on here think  :huh:

I'm guessing that the recall was probably only active for a year or so.
You could always go into the dealer and ask them to check if a) it's been done on your car, b) if they can do it .
