Title: Not new but back after a long absence

To all of those who reconise me a big hello how are you all to those of you that dont an equally big hello

 Well after leavin uni and workin in swansea a lad that i was sharin a house with had moved out meanin im back up in sunny liverpool not very happy not what i wanted but what imstuck with , the 205 had to go so im lookin for a new car want a mk2 for everyday use ill keep the 205s for track day abuse , anyway im sure ill be around more often now im home ,  :cool:

wots ur budget for a mark 2, my mate always has cars for sale and lives fairly near southport, so not too far away from you.

Right now my budget is about £200 ish , not 100% sure yet , as cheap as i can, not too concerned about a Gti no point in gettin one if im gunna shave all the kit put small bumpers on it and change everythin apart from the shell

 The swansea experience was amazing , im hoping to move back made the best mates of my life there n didnt want to come back up here to widnes (somewhere outside liverpool and a sh*thole to boot) Swansea has its fault but felt more at home there than anywhere else

 Yeah len , those Mi16 engines are brilliant if you relived them from there 4 door hell (knows lens got a 405 mi16)  :evil:

You bleddy 205 boys! Should be hung drawn and quartered, the burnt at the stake! for the sacriledge of taking such fantastic engines out of such magnificent cars! :angry: :evil:

Why mines been SORN'd and in the garage for last 18 months!  :embarassed:
Nowt wrong with it mind just dont want 2 cars on road atm! Waiting til I forget how fantastic it is to drive then I'll go back to it! :smug:

Nothing against the 405 its just about 200 too big , and the mi16 205 is the car that pug should have built , but for the everyday hack i need somethin thats not going to crumble when i sneeze inside it so a nice mk2 will do  :smiley:

The one they should have made was the 405 Coupe! Keep looking at mine and thinking! If I welded up the rear doors and moved the B pillar back and chopped the roof!
Gonna do it one day - but probably not to mine - get a body from a scrappy and then swop my bits onto it if it looks ok!

Hmm yeah, i always find brakes are useful  :laugh: and definitly after the docs have worked there magic on me, though my poor body is starting to look like a patch work quilt with all my old Op scars  :laugh:
