Title: pump reservoir?
Post by: dibdub on 16 December 2003, 16:31
my 16valver has a small hair line crack in the pump reservoir?(plastic housing of pump)which petrol is leaking out of.i was just wondering if any one knows if this house thingy is just a protective cover and maybe there is a leak inside, maybe at the pump.and this crack only happened from pressure of fuel filling inside?or does this house/reservoir(what ever its called)hold feul?thanks for any help.

Get a new one from VW, not that costly. Make sure it's for the 16v as 8v ones are different :).
