need to replace ariel base,anyone know how?

drop the roof lining at the rear, very carefully.  There should be a bolt or nut underneath holding it on :)

You can also slide 2 bits of wood under to keep some distance to work in between the lining and the roof....make sure you get and amplified base though....some places sell the ariels without the amp and reception sux!
