Alright all, heres an easy one for ya. Thinking about taking my chrome badges off my mk3 this weekend and spraying them black, seen loads of black badges around and they look the bomb. Good idea???
how easy are they to remove? im guessing that the back badge is held on behind the interior trim so should be real straight forward, that right?
The front is another story. does anyone know if i will need to take the whole grill out to get to the fixtures (if its not fixed :undecided: ), or does the badge come out without removing the grill?
sure will get through it no problem but a bit of recon seems the way forward. :smug:

ive just sprayed my front and going to do my rear badge aswell, looks mint (on red car)
The front just has 3 clips, get a screwdriver and just carefully prise it out, no need to remove grill
let me know how u get on with the rear aswell mate

just done the front, took the boot lid interior off to get a look at the back of the badge. looks like its just glued into the recess... gutted . had a good pull at it to no avail without snapping it. think am just going to mask it up really well, that can wait till weekend...
