Hello

Did MK2 golf 1.8 drivers have power steering fitted from new, maybe as a last run out edition in 1992?

Don't know if they all did as standard or if it was an option on the later ones, I had a J plate 1.8 Driver without it and a lad I know's dad has a J plater which has PAS  :sad:

Does anyone know of any MK2 1.8 3dr Driver's with PAS that are for sale?

PAS was always an option on 1.6 carb - 1.8 GTI MK2s, VW never fitted it as standard.

The good news is any MK2 PAS kit will fit, all the brackets are the same, with the exception of those also fitted with aircon, but I don't think you need to worry about that :grin:

Make sure he is also including the boot that the UJ goes through, and also the rubber mounting as these differ.

Oh and if you wanted it posting I can do, just put collection only cos I'm sure you've suffered from ebay moaners when you quote them for carriage. Can do it on citylink or by post office.
