Title: who else uses aol???

just wondering who else on here uses aol??, ive just got me aol 9 beta test disk as i signed up to be a tester, just got it installed and runs way faster and better than aol 8 was just wondering if any one else has got this test disk??? ::) ::) ::)

And i know Sadam Hussein is a big AOL fan. Had many a late night chat with Georgy and Sadam!  

Sorry but i work as a consultant for a software developer and i used to work for a design and internet service company and AOL is crap mate. Just get yourself a nice quick connection. I personaly use Aramiska and Freeserve.  

Sayin in that it does depend what yopu want the net for. AOL is great for censoring the net and people who don't know there way around. I would consider it if i had kids. Unfortunately by my experience it seems to be bloody good at killing computers or makin super slow too.

im on aol, but on apple mac with rediculously fast connection speed of 43k, wow. think ours is version 8, pretty slow really

well as i have 3 kids 2 of which use the internet er that is why i have choosen aol and have been on it for nearly 2 years!, i find it fast enough for what i want to do and i know my kids are safe cause they are restricted and with this new aol 9 is even better!!!, sorry if ive said a 'bad' word by mentioning 'aol'!!!!!! i dont think its crap! but then i aint a pc brain box geek so there!! :P :P :P

actually a 43k con would be 5.37kb/s
AOL is sh!te. it's the worst ISP EVER!

dont have the 'rubberband' round here yet as we need 500 peeps to register before bt will consider upgrading the exchange!! pants!!, but even when i do will prob have 'aol' broad band to protect and restrict my kids from all the pervs and freaks out there!! not a good world we live in any more! >:(
