im looking for a convertible old style golf has to be in good nick can any body give me any advise on wot to look out for and how much a good 1 goes for thanks :smiley:

check in the mk1 section, many helpful guys n gals lurk about there!  :laugh: cos i'm guessin by old one u mean mk1? i'll have one soon (been waiting a year)

the oldest is as han says a mk1 but they did do a mk3 cabrio as well..
if you look here - http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?board=41.0, you find a couple of guides that are well worth a look if your wanting to purchase a mk1 cab.

Well im selling the yellow one at a moderate price .. not cheap .. but not to expensive  :grin:

A young lady in my street has got a Mk 3 conv. that exact yellow colour! But its also got yellow inserts in the seats that says Colour Concept!

Is that right or has someone swapped the interior????

Not sure dont know much bout MK 3's .. as only eva owned mk1's & 2  till recently .. as for the mk1 they didnt do a yellow one as far as i know .. it was resprayed bout 10 years ago .. was originally white

Nice one .. just checked it never actually seen an original yellow one before.. none of them the same yellow so least it's still individual  :grin:

mines an original yellow although has been re sprayed in its long life.  There are a few about but none as nice as mine  :drool:
