Title: Anyone in the Bristol area got a VAG Com????
Post by: Bristol Boy on 19 June 2006, 18:59
My airbag light came on shortly after sliding the passenger seat forward (5 door).  I'm guessing that I've disturbed the wiring under the seat.  Not being 1.5 inches tall, it's impossible to see what's going on under the seat - but I can feel a wire and plug connector when I have a grope around, and the plug seems firmly plugged.  Problem is the warning light stays on.  I've tried disconnecting the battery for an hour or so, but the light refuses to go out.

Does this sound like a job for a fault reader like VAG Com?  Is anyone with VAG Com within a 20 mile radius of Bristol able to help me out?  I can travel, and there's a beer in it
