Title: smoothing rear bumper mk4

anybody know a good bodyshop in south wales possibly bristol area that carries out plastic welding to smooth out the rear bump strips, i want a proper job mind!!!!

my usual sprayer in ebbw vale, rs preparations are painting my r32 bumper and skirts, they said they'd have a crack at the plastic welding, but i defo wanna take it to someone whos done a proper job before, dont want the bloody thing cracking or falling apart

thats what im afraid of, doesnt the r32 kit already have smoothed bumpers??? :undecided:

yeah but im only having an r32 front and skirts, i dont want to be a r32 wannabe and i think the rear smooth normal gti bumper with 4mo rear valance is stunning

 :cool: i agree, also its alot of  £Â£Ã‚£Ã‚£ to get the exhaust aswel as bumper etc plus spraying...

if you dont mind me asking, how much is your sprayer charging for the front bumper??

 :laugh: :laugh: oooooh, i guess my quote to respray the frnt end plus drivers door inc removal of all side strips was pretty good (500).

does your price inc smoothing work etc??

im not having it done (yet) cos i thought it was expensive (LOL)

how wrong i was....im trying to hold out for a bora front end conversion, but the missus doesnt like them too much (and she drives the car most of the time..blah blah blah)

so when i get the front end in, i was going to get it sprayed then.
