Title: Six months and finally - my GTI has arrived!

Yes, six months it's taken, but on Saturday I collected my GTI! The reason it took six months? Finally, after months of complaint it seems the dealer amended my order (by accident they say) and that put the order date back to day one - they made the error in March. Disgusting I know - still, I've now got my car and some compensation for the grief...

3 door Manual Tornado Red, Colour coded -  side skirts, front spoiler lip, rear valance (left unpainted at base of valance), R32 darkened rear lights... leather, sat nav, hi line computer, winter pack, folding elec mirrors, 18" wheels, park sensor, Xenons, 6 CD changer, arm rest, boot liner... Oetinger exhaust & carbon air intake going on soon and remap to 250bhp, plus morego suspension kit to follow when run-in.   :smiley:

Congratulations, finally.  I am so jealous, I have still got till sep 2nd to wait before picking mine.  Arghh, at least you got it before reaching 50 :wink:

Well enjoy and love to see some pics.  Cant wait to get rid of this Benz.
