Title: Another Newbie!
Post by: JimmyGti on 12 June 2006, 10:00
Hi there, just recently bought an 8valve, it was in a bit of a sorry state when i got it so i wanted to put it back to its more standard self before i put it on here otherwise you'd probably hate it, so here it is,

things that i changed when i had it, wing mirrors, rear lights, window washers, double wipers, new windscreen,(thanks guys read up on how to replace it, did it in an hour, your help was great cheers),fog lights and since last week, electric windows. Just generally cleaned it up. runs ok, but the first start of the day tends to be abit silly, judders and hunts loads for a bit, try to pull away and just doesn't go anyway fast, its like a lawnmower or something, but when its warmed up its sweet.
plans are some ronal turbos or ats cups in the future and new interior.
well i hope you like it, your feedback on it would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
Jim
