Title: breaks squeaking
Post by: Say bye bye on 10 June 2006, 20:00
I got this annoying squeaking noise coming from my breaks when i apply them, its gettin louder with the heat, at first thought it was the break pads worn out, but all 4 are fine... anyone experiencing anything similar?

Might be worth trying some copper grease on the back of the pads and degreasing the discs with brake cleaner.

yeah it just sprays on the disk surface and is pretty powerful stuff get it from halfords about £5. It evaporates quickly so dont need to wip it off then just roll the car forwards to get the side of the disk behind the pads.
