Title: Cleaning out the throttle body

Hi

Can any one give me a detailed description on how to clean out the throttle body and what to use. Piccies would be very help full as I have no idea what the throttle body looks like.

the throttle body is the metal bit at the back/top of the engine to which the big plastic tube from the airbox connects to. to clean it remove the plastic tube and spray in carb cleaner.

Ahh, great i needed to know that too.. where does the throttle body meet the inlet manifold then..??
i think my symptoms may point to a vacuum leak there.. Tried Haines but cant see a diagram

from memory it just sits on top of the inlet like a carb would i think.( prepares to be corrected)

The throttle body is or rather becomes the inlet manifold.

I just added an old posting I cam accross for this./..

I didi it and it cleared the cutting out issue I had...   

Engine would cut out when idling, or changing gear if the gear change was slow,
