Can any one give me a detailed description on how to clean out the throttle body and what to use. Piccies would be very help full as I have no idea what the throttle body looks like.

the throttle body is the metal bit at the back/top of the engine to which the big plastic tube from the airbox connects to. to clean it remove the plastic tube and spray in carb cleaner.
-
Ahh, great i needed to know that too.. where does the throttle body meet the inlet manifold then..??
i think my symptoms may point to a vacuum leak there.. Tried Haines but cant see a diagram
-
from memory it just sits on top of the inlet like a carb would i think.( prepares to be corrected)
-
The throttle body is or rather becomes the inlet manifold.

I didi it and it cleared the cutting out issue I had...
Engine would cut out when idling, or changing gear if the gear change was slow,
