Title: Smooth tick over?

just a quick one when your engine is at idle is it a smooth purr or do the revs fluctuate slightly kinda like when you first switch air con on the engine tune changes! only gone from a diesel to petrol  and not sure if it is normal!  :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: thanks GREAT CAR!!!!!!!

Don't worry about it, my GTI does exactly the same thing and my previous car did the same.
