Just wanna know if anyone has any idea what power i could be putting out of a 1.8 8v engine on twin 40's, 2litre bottom end, Fast road cam, 3" stainless exhaust and a 4 into 1 manifold............rough guess??????????
Ive accuired all these parts so im gonna put them on my golf  :D

I know theres a guy that has a jetta he takes to track days, its a 1.8 16v with twin 40's and reprofiled cams, fully lightned and balanced and he said he's had that tested on a rolling road at 180 @ the flywheel

I don't know mate I was just talking to the guy at Castle coombe one day, it was a beat up old bronze coloured jetta but f*ck me did it go well :grin:

Ive seen that jetta a CC as well.
There was a red primered caddy as well with a similar engine.

yeah simo, you not thought of changing you whole engine for a 16v then putting it on 40's wont be much more effort
