i got myself a little cruise sorted out with sum m8s n sum other people but my m8s been to big headed sayin he is gonna whoop us all in his 1.4 astra he has not even passed his test yet n cant drive to save his life i need a plan to keep him behind me coz his cars faster any ideads ppl

a 1.1 citroen ax until january i am gettin a mk2 8valve golf gti

what year is astra??
a 1.1 ax has something like 55-60bhp depending on the year, plus it weighs as much as a match box.
if his astra uses the 1.4 hi-torq then only has 60bhp in a car that weighs 1.5times as much ;)

and if ya get your gear changes right that makes all the diff. I have it down to a fine art now - just ask the fushty i mean fiesta I wasted this morning.
Also make sure u ain't going down hill ;D

the funny thing is the guy has modded the car, big sound, very very low etc etc but he has hubcaps! that kills it...LOL
To beat that astra i would tell your mates to sit in his car and have yours empty. also make sure he has a few subs in the boot that should slow him down :P

You need to use the road and whats on it to your advantage - i.e. if you are behind a car on a straight, hang back far enough so he cant overtake you both, then when there is only enough space for you to get past, go for it. then you can pull away, whilst he is stuck behind the car... Little tricks like this used to help me beat my mates escort cosworth on runs, time after time. There is no way in the world I could live with it on a clear road, but use what you got - your brain! and you should do ok

hey all i went on that drive a few hours ago i beat his 1.4 in my 1.1 its quite slow then i overtook him later on n i slowed down for the corner (wet weather) on a double lane road he went by took the corner spun it n smashed his car up into the barrier lol his dad will kill him coz its still signed in his dads name and he go tno license driver door is smashed up n front wing is demolished no mirror back caved in he is ok though
