Title: ive had an idea
Post by: pitchy on 04 June 2006, 20:12
i was soon going to be making wheel adaptors vw to audi etc , well ive thought about buying brand new hubs and re-machining them with the correct holes pcd etc , the only thing with this is that i would have to provide new drilled discs to match , and on the rear too ( does the rear have a hub same as front ) .
the price will obviously a tad more to cover all new parts , but the end result will be safer than adaptors , look genuine and reduce the problems with the track being too wide

let me know what u lads think as i know these adaptors are in demand and id personally prefer to make these , but there may be limitations , id have to look into overall diameter of hub face .
cheers

Well it's as simple as this. I want a 280mm disc set up from the G60, but don't wan't the hassle of sourcing the parts, and paying the cost.
