it's on ebay so of course it's rare
hadnt figured in ebaymuppets lol just wondering if i could have made some money off of mine rather than chopping it up.......
-
We should have a list the most unrare obscure thing on ebay competition and see what the highest price is! from what I know of the soundproofing it's rare because most people take it off when it starts catching and rubbing on things as it gets old :)

I have on of those on the valver, still currently on the bent bonnet. I quite like it so will be putting it on the new bonnet, if its not too much hassle!
-
its easy peasy. 3 metal spring things n some plastic clips, i got spares if any of yours are broken or missing
-
then it shall be salvaged!
I need to pull my finger out and make a start on that valver!!
-
you mean I need to make a start on your valver.
-
i have it on mine but im short some of the plastic clips
i prefer to keep engine noise down! until on full tilt when it scares other road users!
im also considering basically tinfoiling the underside of the bonnet in order to stop my red paint fading!! red paint mixed with engine heat doesnt help! infact you can nearly see an outlet of the inlet manifold on my bonnet if left long enough
-
^^ good thinking batman!
-
I have 1 spare and 1 on the edition one. hardly rare!
-
i love the engine noise too much to try and muffle it.
-
Ditto to slick!
Leave it off let it VROOM!!!!!
-
hardly makes any diffrence. My 8v still sounds as rough as ever with the bonnet proofing.
I nabbed mine off a 16v i had. The throttle cable rubs on the proofing which isnt good and the metal clips scratch the nice and shiney paintwork
fookin sh!te
