Post by: monzablue16v on 02 June 2006, 14:34: We should have a list the most unrare obscure thing on ebay competition and see what the highest price is! :laugh: from what I know of the soundproofing it's rare because most people take it off when it starts catching and rubbing on things as it gets old :)

i prefer to keep engine noise down! until on full tilt when it scares other road users!

im also considering basically tinfoiling the underside of the bonnet in order to stop my red paint fading!! red paint mixed with engine heat doesnt help! infact you can nearly see an outlet of the inlet manifold on my bonnet if left long enough

I nabbed mine off a 16v i had. The throttle cable rubs on the proofing which isnt good and the metal clips scratch the nice and shiney paintwork
