Just a quick question before I go bugger things up without asking first :laugh:
Recently got hold of a set of Hella Mk4 style headlights for the Mk3 golf off E-Bay.. These are in decent nick but there is a little bit of what appears to be dirt and slight minimal water marks on the silver reflective inside (guessing condensation as I've sprayed water at them and there are no leaks). Just wondering are these a sealed unit or would I be able to take the glass front off and clean them up/glass also without doing any damage to the lights. I had a feeling I could cut the sealant and then prise the glass front away and then re-seal it.. So question is... Can this be done, how do I go about it and is it easy to do?
