Title: Power Steering rack fitting costs

Whoever it was who asked me to inform them how much it cost me to get a powersteering rack fitted

well it was

?100 for 2nd hand rack & pipes & sundries

and 3hrs labour to fit it

no mate

my original power steering rack failed, so thats how much it cost to source a recon rack and for my mechanic to fit it

Well bearing in mind you needed a new rack anyway, that seems a very good price. 3 hours labour doesn't sound bad either........pig of a job.

yeah hes a sound bloke, ex-VAG service manager. he's sorting out my timing at the mo for nowt

and prompt payment of bills always helps i find!!
