right!!! i am finally at the point i wanted to be at with styling my golf :grin: but........... i want to more now as i have the bug, im in the process of retrimming the interior myself :shocked: i have sourced some tidy recaros and im in the middle of cutting the shapes out of leatheretc ready for stitching. a post for the retrim will start shortly. but i want to know what you guys and gals think i should do next to make it better. im not fussed on engine mods etc as im sucked off with petrol prices (aren't we all) but i just want the car to look as sweet as possible. im going to colour code the bootlid spoiler and the centre of the rear bumper spoiler. i have a sweet little idea for the gti badges so wach this space. the alloys will be refurbed and highly highly polished in the winter by myself and my 2 elbows and i think i may get front and rear strut braces for it. apart from that i cant think of what else to do to it. if the interior retrim turns out ok i may go all westwood stylee and put tv's in the headrests and sun visors with a tidyer boot install but im stuck any ideas people. :wink:

same car as me :wink: looks sweet mate , those rims look ace on mk3's. I'd have em myself if i didn't live in the most potholed place on earth.

cheers guys, will the polo door handles fit straight on? very interested in doing this as the handles on there now are faded and have a key hole for thieving gits to mess with.

forgot to add, if the oppurtunity arises to bag a chaep 1.8t engine box and loom etc i will contemplate converting the car. but that wont be untill next year.

i think so from what i was told.
lupo gti wipers look sweet too, but are pretty pricey

i think your next job should be arches removed and smooth side strips smooth bumpers but if your like me its all about how much it costs, but as your car looks now i would be very happy.

cheers for all your replies i well chuft :grin:. was thinking of taking the arches off when i bought the car but unfortunatley when i lowered it i forgot to place one of the compnents on the front shock so it sat really low and i had mega probs with the wheel/tyre scratching on the arch trim when on full lock so i had to cut the front wings quite alot and then bond the front arches on and take a slither off them, i then realised after i had vandalised the front end that there was a funny cup shaped washer left on the workshop table, ddddaaammmm so it all came off and i placed the washer in which raised the car 10 mm or so and there was no need to have cut the arches in the first place. hind sight is a terrible thing :undecided:. so i now am stuck with the wings i have, but looking at carls car i want transporter vents in the wings but i have a realy ugly ariel on one of the wings now and ive been wanting to replace it so that will be my next project after the interior.
what do the lupo gti wipers (front or rear?)look like and what sort of money are we talking? also where is the best place to go for the transporter vents for price and what do people reckon vent in both wings or one side?

polo handles almost fit straight on, there's a little bit of modification needed to the lock hole, let me know when yer ready to fit some, and i'll advise yer if ya need it.... :wink:
