Title: Another GTI Newbie in da house !!

Hi there peeps,

Just joined as i have purchased a H'reg MK2 GTI 16V 5 door for me and the missus, and the two girls!!, to use as a replacement to our G'reg Audi 80 sport.

Got the car for just £225 and picking it up Tuesday.

Been standing for a few months so i have to m.o.t. and tax it, but it has 130,000 or so miles with full history and only two previous owners. I reckon it wont need much.

It has PAS, Central Locking, Manual Sunroof, Electric Windows in all four doors, Sigma alarm (no cert though) and BMW BBS wheels without the centres. I will post pics as soon as i can.

Oh..........its in red by the way.

I have a question though.......... would the car have had 14" or 15" BBS wheels originally and will i have a prob if i leave the BMW wheels on it? If this needs to be asked in another section i will do so at a later date and sorry for asking!! :wink:

I have also been offered an L'reg Corrado 16v with only 30,000 original miles on it and probably 1 owner, for £500 as it has a fault with the central locking opening itself!! I reckon i might get 'em down to £300 or £350!!

Now that i have stopped blabbering on about cars i should let you know that my name is 'Curtis', i am 34, and i live in Luton, Beds with my Czech wife, 'Petra' and our two daughters, 'Isabelle' who is 2 years and 'Natalie' who is two months!!
