Hi
Just had the 4 coil packs changed on my 1.8T and that has helped fix the mis-firing / rough idling problems, but I've now noticed that when driving and the stereo is on, when ever I accelerate there is a buzzing which comes though the speakers. It gets quicker and louder the harder i accelerate. It doesn't happen when the stereo is off. Any ideas?? This didn't happen until these were changed, the guy also tapped up the slightly cracked wires connecting to the coilpacks...
Any info or comments would be much appreciated
Cheers
Jonny

Sounds like you got a bad earth somewhere and your picking up interference from the new coil pack, or the alternator even. :undecided: :undecided: Post up in the audio section they will help you more.
It could be the cracked leads causing interference too. Older cars used to suffer loads with the alternator interfering as people would run power leads too close to sound cables

Cheers Gaz, you were right, been fiddling about and I think the new coilpacks werent in properly, Ive taken them out and put them back in and it seems to have fixed the problem... hopefully no more probs for a while now....
