Title: Water in DAS BOOT!!!

Went to get my spare wheel out at the weekend & to my horror its prity damn moist in the boot  :cry:
Where could it be getting in? the carpets getting soggy & its gavering in with the spare wheel!!

the rear light seals are usually the cause of water getting into the boot

Also check the little hose that feeds the rear washer. Mine had split and kindly emtied loads of water into the boot all over my amp. Its on the right behind the carpet.

Right Ive taken the carpet & space saver out of the boot so hopefully i can locate some drips!!! then sprayed the boot & rear lights with a hose for 5 mins & no leak at all  :shocked:

Could the water be spraying up through the drainage hole below the spare wheel??? & the only reason the carpets got this wet  & soggy is because it pissed it down for 2 weeks?  :laugh:
