evening people, i have just got myself a set of Pirelli p slot alloys for £70 including 4 decent tyres. For starters was that a good price?
Anyway overall they are in pretty good nick but there is a bit of curbing on the outer rims of 2 of the wheels and various scratches.
I'm looking to get them refurbished to a decent state so does anyone know of any decent wheel refurb guys in the east london/essex area?
How much will I be looking at per wheel?
is there anything I can do myself? is it easy enough to have a crack myself or should i just pay a pro to do it?
Flicking through a mag i saw a set of p slots that had been chromed up, they looked very nice but i'm sure they cost a packet, anyone have a clue how much it would set me back to chrome my wheels?
Cheers people
dave

i'd say £70 has got to be good! me and several people on theis forum have used www.wheelrefurbishing.co.uk, they are good! chroming costs ots as you have to have them mirror polished beforehand but they do look awesome. check if yours have plastic centre caps as that will make all the difference!

cheers joe
just had a look at the site and was pleasantly suprised about how much they would cost so i might be giving them a bell.

the other thing to do is get them diamond cut, this will give a very good finish and they laquer it after so it'll stay like that for a while, again this depends on whether you have plastic centre caps. :P

did you get the centre caps for that price?
I've got a set in average condition with knackered tyres. I was going to spray them black myself and chuck them onto the daily. considering leaving them silver now and just getting the tyres swapped over.

yes i did get the centre caps and as from half an hour ago they are now on my stop gap daily mk2 drive
