im a newcastle fan, just thought id add that bit in.
exciting game, usual crap newcastle defence with titus 'circus' bramble. liverpool holding on at the end with wave of wave attack from newcastle, but houlier set his team up right, played like they were gonna sneak the one goal and hang on. almost managed it.
as ever no finger nails left and lots of beer cans thrown at the wall and at the telly. aint football the greatest sport ever, none of this rugby crap.
so with a 1-1, and a claimed 4place battle match, its gonna be close at the end of the season as to who gets it. up the toon...........

Yep, I just watched that. I'm a Liverpool fan and think we were lucky to get the draw, thought you had the better of us.

smicer shouldve scored from that lovely bit of defending on the left wing from bramble, i thought dyer had scored and i thought roberrts free kick was in. was good game, good performace by newcastle even if they didnt win.
liverpool played the tactics well, did enough to stay alive in the game.

Yeah I thought Smicer had goal written all over that move, couldn't believe it went wide of the post >:(
It was a good game, glad I didn't miss it.
I do enjoy the rugby too.......fantastic world cup........I didn't watch any footer for a month :o
