it broke down last night !! A friendly RAC told me that it definately coil.
Just ordered Ignition Coil and is it easy job to replace or it a b!tch of job?
-
really easy -i managed!!!. when you get the coil it will be self explanatry on how to replace if not get out the trusty haines manual
-
Easy as pie. We have had the ignition coil go on both our MK3's and replaced them ourselves.
-
two bolts and an electrical connection - 5 mins max.
-
All,
Cheers - let hope it do the trick !! miss driving it and last 2 days I had to drive Wife's Vectra, it not the same !!! :D
-
I found it easy as well, though I took of the plastic cover off that covers the pollen filter just removed the 5 or 6 plastic press studs then got to the 2 bolts that hold the coil on, sounds alot of work but it's not really 10 min job max
-
Well it not 10 mins job now ... now it 2 days job as they gave me the wrong part !!! goddamit :(
Told them it AGG engine etc and still get wrong one !!
