Title: rear spoiler - bike rack

anyone fitted one so you can still feed the straps under it to hook on to the boot lid, so the strap isn't pulling down on the spoiler. Does it work? Is it just a case of not putting putty where you want the strap to pass under or do you have to file a knotch out each side? (talking about the standard VW one with the notch for the ariel) Cheers.
