Title: MAF sensor
Post by: ollie on 12 May 2006, 19:23
I've heard about the MAF sensors playing up, could anyone tell me if there is one located on the 1.8 20v turbo engine 1999 and could it make the car judder after 3000 revs if it was faulty?

Its connected on the air pipe that leads to the air box. its a plastic cylinder with a sensor and wiring plug poining out. When you get a new one you will need the vw/bosch part no which is on the bulk head side.
