I had this when i took my steering wheel off to fit an old skool four button gti one, the whole was to small so i didnt bother. whats up with your steering wheel?

hi m8 just got hold of this steering wheel and its in good condition old steering wheel is very worn  :(
is there a adapter that will allow me to fit this new steering wheel???  ::)
-
only difference between early spec & late spec coloums was that there was an adapter and spring fitted to the late spec column

this can be removed in order to fit an early spec wheel to a late spec column.

but ive got a sneaky suspicion u can't fit a late spec wheel to an early spec column - because as u say - the splines on the wheel itself are too small

				thanks m8
gonna ring gs&f and vw see what they say :-\
