Post by: vinny_coupe1979 on 10 May 2006, 09:44
Ok underneath on passenger side neat the back under the car is where the brake pipes ( 4 i think) go into a box of some sort and then onto the rear wheels, i seem to have fluid leaking from this? what is it called and anyone know how easy to change how much etc?

Yeah what he said... I changed mine on the mk2 I had, and I thought it was pretty straightforward. But remember you will need to bleed your brakes afterwards - front and rear....

Brake pressure regulator isn't always straightfoward, depends what model is fitted.
On some mk3's the regulator is mounted to the car with recessed allen key bolts, these don't come out very easily, and its very hard to get anything in there to remove them.
