Title: GTI 30 years

Cloth/Leather seats
Golfball on manual gear stick
R32 smoked rear lights
special "30 years" floor mats
230bhp
GTI "30 years" badge on steering wheel
Special alloys (bbs I think, 19")
"30 years" badges around the cars exterior

Will prob not be avail in Belgium, if they are, only about 10 will be imported

Production starts sep/oct 2006.

registration tax GTI 200 bhp: 2500 euros
registration tax GTI "30 years" 230 bhp : 5000 euros !! ( highest amount possible !)

annual tax will only be 252Ãƒâ€šÃ¢â€šÂ¬ tdi / 328Ãƒâ€šÃ¢â€šÂ¬ gti / 328Ãƒâ€šÃ¢â€šÂ¬ gti "30 years" , so that's ok

insurance ... well me insurer looked worried when I told him I was getting a 200bhp car.
when you're under 30 (I'm 25), it will cost a fortune... thank God I have a clean sheet

I've only seen 3 GTI's around here , 2 of them where French, other one was the VW test-car

btw, annual tax is double for diesel engine above 2000cc

that's why my A4 2,5 TDI had 163 instead of 180bhp
and 2,0TDI is 136, not 140bhp

the BMW 525D is avail with 3 different BHP's for tax reasons !

Cant you have it imported from UK to Germany? Will be UK spec, but i didnt pay any VAT on mine.

Anyway, I'm buying it on my company, so I get 50% back from taxes.

Insurance will be about 1400Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£ a year, fully covered.

VW says there are no plans yet to sell the car

According to the Golf Record Day website VW turned up at the GRD event in Gelsenkirchen with a 30th Anniversary Golf (which incidently doesnt look like the one on autoscoop.eu), which they said they have no plans, as yet, to put into production.

VW.de have recently announced their 2007 model range. Main points from the range are:
R32

Sorry Olli, i missed your reply!!! Yeah, they maybe more expensive in uk, but because im british but work outside of the counry, i didnt pay any tax on the vehicle - should have been Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£21000 and i paid Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£17400 including delivery! May not work to Belgium - i dont know for sure.

6 speed manual or double clutch dsg.
