Title: 8x15's on a Mark 2
Post by: Neaty on 09 May 2006, 14:24
I have been browsing on dubmeister and quite like TH Mono's but notice that they are 8x15's will i need arch work with it lowered 55mm. It never used to scrub with the RA's on with 195 55 tyres on ( I think) even with 5 people in the car. Here is a pic of it from the side.

Yea they are the only ones that I like at the moment. I am in no rush to buy them so I might aswell save up for getting the arches rolled etc.

I know, i hang my head in shame  but I dont understand all that offset nonsense so I though that there might be some way of doing it if i buy some with a certain offset.

Dunno if this helps you but i shall say anyway.

My 16v is on coilovers and has 7x15 et 25 alloys on it. G60arch extentions, no mods to the arch. The car is slammed approx. 90mm-100mm and they rub! Can't have more than one other person in my car including myself and no luggage. Had a nightmare on the way to Big Bang 2006, thought my tyre was gonna blow out
